Fundamental physical processes are experimentally investigated at the Hydraulics Laboratory G. Fantoli, implying sophisticated measuring techniques. The images reported in this page refer to physical modelling for transport of sediments in a gravel bed. A laboratory flume specifically designed and built is depicted, with instruments for image capturing and the results of in-house developed software products for accurate image-based measurements.
