How to enroll to the Ph.D. programmes

In Italy admission to Ph.D. programmes is conditional on passing a public call for selection. The call is published every year – around April-May – at this page.

The selection procedure usually ends around July, whilst the courses start on November 1.

Please note that PhD programmes (for both students with or without scholarship) is for free, except for a small yearly fee comprising insurance, regional tax, etc., because tuition fees (1,500 Euro/year) for non-scholarship holders have been abolished.
